FYB Yoga Therapy (Advanced Yoga) Program
The International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) reviews the curriculums and lists Yoga Therapy Programs around the world, (e.g., USA, India, Europe, Australia, etc.). FYB (Feel Your Best)® is one of a total of 23 such listed programs.
Yoga Therapy is both a healing science and art, requiring active participation and exploration of both the therapist and the client. Those interested in Yoga Therapy range from people with health challenges, to those seeking injury rehabilitation, to those who simply wish to significantly deepen their personal practices in a way that is not possible within a group setting.
Yoga Therapy is not intended to replace traditional medical care, but rather to complement it, as well as facilitate a preventative approach to healthcare and overall well-being. As therapists, we seek to address individuals with a "whole-person" focus: Physical, mental, emotional, lifestyle, and spiritual, in order to create system-wide harmony.
Are you interested in the profession of Yoga
Therapy? Would you like to significantly deepen your own personal practice
and strengthen its influence on your health and well-being, as well
as others health and well-being? Then
the FYB Yoga Therapy (Advanced Yoga) Program is for you!

The FYB History, Philosophy and
FYB (Feel Your Best)® Yoga, a multi-style discipline, was designed so that all people can experience the numerous benefits of a personalized Yoga practice. FYB Yoga is for everyone, not just those who are physically flexible, healthy and free of injury or medical conditions. Thus the FYB philosophy and trademarked slogan "The Person, Not The Pose"® was born. FYB Yoga, a Yoga Alliance recognized style, was founded in 1995, by Debra Mundt, E-RYT500, CPT, IAYT, YHP, RCYP. It is taught with fun and gentle guidance, and in a non-intimidating manner.
FYB Instructors and FYB
Practitioners are located throughout the
FYB (Feel Your Best)® Yoga Therapy approaches Yoga Therapy from a perspective of client-directed healing, rather than therapist-directed "cure". Therapist and client work together through initial intake, ongoing assessment tools, and methods of healing that are specific to the client's needs. This FYB process is one of psychological, physical and spiritual empowerment. FYB (Feel Your Best)® Yoga Therapy truly embraces a "whole-person" approach.
"The
Person, Not The Pose"®: Just as our philosophy for
teaching yoga, "The Person, Not The Pose"®, holds
true ... so does our philosophy for teaching teachers. At FYB, we
get to know you as an individual within a group setting, with fun and
gentle guidance, and in a non-intimidating manner.
"FYB was exactly what I needed. I
feel more equipped, more confident, and more in love and in awe of yoga
than I ever imagined I would be." - J.L.

minimum educational standards for Yoga Therapists and Yoga Teachers. The

"The hands-on knowledge that I received, to make yoga safe and accessible to everyone, is amazing. The teaching methodology taught here really makes sense, and takes much of the fear of the unknown out of teaching." - T.M.
