FYB (Feel Your Best)® offers Certified Pilates Teacher (CPT) programs for those desiring to become
Pilates teachers. Your studies may also lead to becoming registered with the Pilates Method Alliance.
FYB (Feel Your Best) Pilates was
founded by Debra Mundt, E-RYT 500, CPT, based on a desire to promote the
benefits of Pilates to the general public.
Pilates is for everyone, not simply those who are physically
flexible, healthy, and free of injury or medical conditions.
Thus, our philosophy and trademarked slogan, “The Person, Not
the Pose”® applies.

The
FYB Pilates Teacher Training (PTT) School began in response to the
public’s demand for highly trained, qualified instructors, within an
unregulated industry. It is
our mission to provide a comprehensive, quality, experiential education
to those interested in becoming Pilates teaching professionals, as well
as those simply seeking to deepen their understanding and practice of
Pilates.
FYB Pilates emphasizes attention to detail, alignment and the quality of each movement. FYB Pilates works muscle groups, with coordinated effort, through their full range of motion. This increases the awareness of smaller, often forgotten muscles, while larger muscles become leaner, toned, and sleek. The result is a strong, balanced and integrated body.

The Complete FYB Pilates Certification Program Covers:
Function and rationale of the movements and apparatus (equipment)
The "why" behind the exercises
Postural analysis and biomechanics
Teaching Methodology -- communication skills, cueing, pacing, and technique
Anatomy and Kinesiology as it relates to movement, and specifically to Pilates
Variations of the classic exercises, emphasizing modifications and special populations -- ANYONE can do Pilates
Hands-on, client-based, individualized instruction
FYB - Certified Pilates Teacher (CPT) Programs
The FYB Multi-Level Program - offers two Certified Pilates Teacher (CPT) Levels:
CPT Level 1 - Basic Mat: Foundational Principles, Exercises and Anatomy
CPT Level 2 - Intermediate / Advanced Mat: Intermediate / Advanced Exercises and
Anatomy
FYB Group Multi-Level Teacher Training Programs are offered at least twice yearly, with schedules to fit your lifestyle. With the Multi-Level Program, you have the ultimate in Scheduling Flexibility. We also offer private / semi-private certifications at your location or ours, to fit your schedule; please inquire for details.

FYB is a strong advocate of high quality Pilates instruction. The health and safety of
Pilates students is of paramount importance to all FYB trained instructors. We promote the expansion of more CPT's (Certified Pilates Teachers) throughout the USA, through our Pilates School.
Tuition for all Multi-Level Programs & Comprehensive Programs includes:
FYB Pilates Training Manual and supplies
FYB Pilates Instructor Certification upon successful completion of training, all required assignments, and demonstration of proficiency
10% discount on all FYB products (including clothing, books, music, props, etc.) upon registration and throughout the training
Certified Hours in the Pilates Teacher Training Program may be applied towards Advanced Standing in other FYB Certification Programs (reducing time and fees associated with other FYB certification training)
Once registered in the FYB Pilates Teacher Training Program, if you enroll in other FYB Certification Programs within 1 year, you will receive an additional FYB Multi-Program discount.
If you should enroll in other FYB Certification Programs within 1 year, any additional Application Fees (ranging from $50 to $100) are waived.
Transportation to and from Milwaukee (Mitchell) airport, train station, bus depot (if traveling from
out-of-state, and only if requested in advance)
Lodging (not included in tuition):
Recommendations (as little as $20 / night) are available by request; call our Business Office for a list and details.
